Our Story

My name is Toiya Isaac I am the founder of Good Ting Luxurious Skincare LLC.

 

Growing up in the Virgin Islands during the long hot summers, I would suffer from break outs from heat rashes and acne. I tried to use over the counter products that just made my skin worse . My grandmother  had every plant imaginable in her backyard, one in particular was aloe vera. I started to use the gel in the Aloe Vera plant, which has extraordinarily rich vitamins, as a mask to help my acne and calm my skin rashes.

 

This began my interest in using natural home remedies to cure and treat my skin issues. I began to experiment and read up about  the benefits of essential and carrier oils, incorporating them into my skin regimen and immediately saw a substantial difference the more I consistently used them. 

 

Fast forward, I started incorporating my oils I used into my raw organic butters like shea, and mango butter. The properties of these butters along with my organic oils kept my skin hydrated and moisturized and protected me from the harsh winter weathers whenever I would travel to the U.S. mainland. 

 

Over time my friends started to compliment me on my skin and ask me for advice. They would always say "you have good skin” or pass comments like "Girl you don’t age". I would always tell them I take care of my skin by getting facials and using natural products I created at home to keep my skin healthy.

 

I decided to make a small batch to let them try and before you know it, they were raving about my products . They were seeing amazing results in a matter of weeks. Then they started to tell other family members and friends who began to purchase from me.

 

That’s how Good ting Luxurious skin care was born. I put my heart , love, and personal experience into my products. I hand-picked nothing but the best certified organic , herbs, oils, and butters into my formula. I want everyone to have the opportunity to have good luxurious skin.
